My name is Felipe Delestro Matos, was born in Brazil and currently live in France. I work as Data Scientist at ImVitro, helping in the development of machine learning solutions for in-vitro fertilization. I have a mixed background between engineering and biology, with a focus on image analysis and data visualization.
My initial formation at Universidade Estadual Paulista, campus of Assis-SP, mixed fundamental concepts of Biology and Engineering, in a course focused on multidisciplinary.
Master in Biosciences
I continued the academic path in the same university, where under the supervision of Marcelo Nogueira and José Celso Rocha I started studies in the fields of Embryology, Machine learning and Image analysis.
PhD in Cellular Biology
During my Ph.D. I worked under the supervision of Auguste Genovesio at the Institut de Biologie de l’École Normale Supérieure (IBENS), within the Computational Bioimaging and Bioinformatics laboratory. We developed computational methods for the analysis of in vivo memory formation events, with a focus on Image analysis and Data visualization.
